    Good intentions don’t make mascots right  Jul 2, 2009
    And our schools do little to teach the real story, or incorporate and preserve American Indian history and culture. I have talked to quite a few American Indians, and yes, some do like the idea of being represented by a mascot, but they also think their culture and history is hardly taught, and this lack of teaching furthers the stereotyping of American Indians.
