    In at least one respect, though, the unclaimed funds list is similar to the roster of Madoff clients that this week generated so much media attention: It's a mix of the famous Rudolph Giuliani, Matthew Broderick and Woody Allen, to name just a few and the unknown. All told, there are 23 million accounts on the list, adding up to $9 billion in funds a sum that might leave Madoff unimpressed, considering he's accused of masterminding a $50 billion Ponzi scheme.
